Expat and Travel Speedlinking

November 1st, 2007

In order to spread some link karma this Thursday evening here are some expat and travel sites that I have buzzed through this week that have something positive to say:

Over at The Independent they have an interesting piece on Morocco and how the coastline could have been made for surfing.

ExpatExchange has a very interesting piece on South America’s Best Kept Secret, which is located in Brazil.

Lastly, in this day and age you can never be too careful when traveling and the State Department has some very practical safety tips for those Traveling Abroad.

  1. Elijah Harborth Says:

I cant recommend the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton. 1) Depending on the sisters age, it might not be age appropriate (a lot of sex). 2) Although her size is not explicitly mentioned there is enough description of the clothing styles she is wearing, and how they fit, for the reader to know that she is probably a size 00. 3) The character is always partaking of very physical activities but there is never a mention of eating. She will regularly go for what seems to be days of fights, chases and sex without ever seeming to manifest the need to re-fuel. And 4) Although I like the genre, the Anita Blake is a vampire series which is not everyones cup of tea.
