Some people have inquired as to how we are going to get everything to Culebra (to the Palmetto Guesthouse) without spending a fortune on a container for shipping? My answer -

we are moving to Culebra by boat…
Moving to Culebra Boat

A friend of ours has a boat similar to the one above so we will be packing up like the Oakies and heading northwest. The plan as it stands now is to load everything on Friday July 27 (next week, YIKES) and ship out early on Saturday morning. We expect the boat trip to take somewhere between 2.5 and 4 hours depending on ocean conditions. No hurricanes please!

    hi,
my name is robert and i am planning a move to the usvi. here’s what i’m trying to find out.. is there any way to move myself, my partner and my four dogs by boat? they would be kenneled, leashed, health certified and papered. [ just the dogs not the partner ] and i would pay all fees applicable. i would ship my truck and any other belongings seperately. i just think that trying to fly 4 [3 big] dogs by plane would be a hassle and a half…

so i am diving into the world of google for help. anfoud your blog.
    thanks! …robert
